On the Forerunner's Path

The Lieutenant jumped down from a decaying tree, landing on her feet with her Orion in hand. Sakura was on recon duty for the ADN party that had essembled in another part of the less dense Amaine forest. With all the foilage eaten away, Sakura could look up clearly at the overcast grey sky. "Well, nothing more dreary than walking through this scenery while in the midst of a zombie apocalaypse." she said to her self with a short sigh. She turned towards the way she came and then back towards the path that lead to Beijio. Beijio....Beijio City was lost. For good. No one in their right mind would think about heading back into that place-not unless they had a death wish.

Sakura was'nt involved in the Beijio City Disaster, where the great city fell to the hordes of undead. She had been in the hospital when her ADN unit on Yakamakoto were re-directed into Beijio where they were all slaughtered...they had to have been-not a single one of her team mates returned after being sent in. All she could remember seeing that day was the red hues of the flames that engulfed the Harbor Area from the sea. Vice President Rufus ordered their official gathering at Ithteca the following day-by then the smoke was all that was left...that and the ear piercing cries of thousands in the doomed city...even the President of the ADN wasn't spared the horrible epidemic.

Sakura shook her head, she needed to forget the past and concentrate on the task at hand. She sweapt this part of the trail-her airial view of the area showed the next 20 feet ahead of her were also clear. She continued forward on foot, ready to take on anything that was ahead of her-even though she was merely just assessing the area for any signs of enemies.
